  • No size limit

Transceiver:

  • Screw terminal connection from main board to Adafruit CanPal TJA1051/T3, easily and cheaply replaced.

  • Compliant to AEC-Q100, IEC 61000-4-2 ESD, RoHS.

Input Tolerances:

  • Common mode (CANH,L) tolerance = +-30V

  • Receiver recessive voltage = -4V < Vr < 9V

  • Receiver dominant voltage = 0.9V < Vd < 9V

  • ESD protection = +-8kV at CANH/L

Bus Connection:

  • No termination present (high impedance node - 30kR differential resistance (CANH/L))

  • Transmit pin disconnected - no ability to drive the bus (ack, error frames etc.)

Timestamp:

  • Equal to nominal baudrate - eg. 1000kbps → 1us resolution

  • u16 timer - rollover automatically parsed in conversion software

Data Recovery:

  • Given improper termination, data can be recovered (with a max of 8192 frames lost at the end). Provided software facilitates this.

Output format:

  • Proprietary binary string, consisting of [8by header][64by data], no padding. Compact format, ideal for large dataset analysis - AI/ML.

  • Fully open source conversion software to .asc and .csv
